Welcome New Members of First Presbyterian Church Beaufort!



Glenna Ferguson is marred to Daryl Ferguson, a member of FPC Beaufort. Glenna was born in Washington, DC and formerly attended Beckley Presbyterian Church in Beckley, WV. She has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. She and Daryl’s parents have had homes at Fripp Island since the 1970’s so Beaufort had been a second home for many years. Glenna’s profession was a speech pathologist and she worked at Head Start for 12 years. She has also been a fitness instructor for 20 years and loves aerobics, running, cooking and reading. She has already jumped into mission work here at FPC Beaufort volunteering with our “Little Neighbors” program at Beaufort Elementary.

Leanne & Andrew Jones come to us via Columbia, SC. Andrew is a native of Beaufort and attended FPC Beaufort. He is a graduate of Beaufort Elementary and Clemson and works as a financial advisor. Leanne is a native of Hartwell, GA and graduated from Wofford College and USC. She is a second grade teacher. Both were previously members of Eastminster Presbyterian in Columbia. They are excited about joining Sunday school classes and becoming involved in mission and service work here at FPC Beaufort.







Sissy Kinghorn is a native of Beaufort and comes to us from Faith Presbyterian Church in Indian Land, SC. Sissy is a graduate of Beaufort High School, UNC and the MUSC and was a practicing Pediatrician. She has a son who resides in Philadelphia, PA . She enjoys swimming and writing in her free time.








Sarah Lestrud is a native of Memphis, TN but has lived in the Beaufort area since high school. She earned a degree from Converse College, located in Spartanburg, SC., where she attended St. John’s Lutheran Church. Sarah is the daughter of Dawn and Alan Brown. Sarah is currently finishing additional academic work at TCL and plans to become a paralegal.






Ainsley & Thomas Tayloe have relocated to Beaufort from Raleigh, NC. Thomas is a native of Birmingham, AL and Ainsley is originally from Washington, NC. Both are outdoor enthusiasts and excited to get out on the water here in Beaufort. Ainsley is a speech & language pathologist and Thomas works in the commercial insurance industry. Ainsley was a member of First Presbyterian Church Washington, NC and Thomas was a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Raleigh.






Lynn & Katherine Ternan come to Beaufort from Grand Rapids, Michigan where they were members of Westminster Presbyterian Church. They now reside on Callawassie Island. Lynn has been in sales and marketing and Katherine was an elementary school teacher. They have two grown children and one granddaughter. In their free time, they both enjoy playing golf, tennis and just about any type of exercise or sport in our beautiful Lowcountry weather!
