To all who are weary and need rest, to all who mourn and need
comfort, to all who are lonely and need friendship,
to all who are glad and would serve their neighbors,
to all who are complacent and need disturbing,
to all who sin and need a Savior, this church opens wide
its doors in the name of Christ, and bids you welcome!
We are located in historic Beaufort, South Carolina at the corner
of North and Church Streets.

This 32-week study offers a deeper examination of the Wisdom books of the Old Testament with a concentration on the Psalms. The study will show the Psalms as Israel’s hymn and prayer book, and an important part of worship. In additional to the Psalms, the study covers the Gospel of John, Epistles of John and Revelation, with the entire study moving toward the climax of the message and the promise found through Jesus Christ.
Disciple will be taught by Becky Albright on Thursday mornings 9:30 – 11:30 beginning September 10th. The cost of the study manual is $38 each and should be purchased by participants if possible. If you are interested in participating in this, please call her or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.

When have you seen our Lord thirsty and offered him a drink of clean water? For almost 2 billion people in the world, daily life revolves around finding water to drink, bathe, and cook with. Often that water is contaminated. Nearly 20,000 people die each day from water-borne illnesses due to a lack of safe drinking water.
Water Missions International has helped make safe water a reality for more than 2.5 million people by setting up water treatment systems in communities around the world.
The organization has also provided help to victims of disasters. A Water Missions team was one of the first groups to respond to the Ebola epidemic in Nigeria. Another Water Missions team was sent to Nepal immediately after the earthquake. The money that our church donated to Water Missions is being used to provide safe drinking water for earthquake victims in Nepal.
Water Missions International is a nonprofit Christian organization based in Charleston, S.C. Their mission is two-fold:
Members of our church will participate in a day-long mission trip to Water Missions International’s headquarters on October 12th. Participants will engage in a variety of volunteer jobs, ranging from sweeping the floor to assembling components for their water treatment systems.
Participants must be 16 years old or older. However, there are no other restrictions. No particular talents or skills are necessary. Interested in participating? Contact Sissy Kinghorn at 843-300-0311 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org or Nan Krueger at 843-812-8856 or email: NanKrueger1@gmail.com.
