Presbyterian Women

Welcome! We, the Presbyterian Women, or PW, are a vibrant and empowered community of women who seek to live out our faith in meaningful ways. As we come together we are challenged by God’s word, enjoy intergenerational fellowship, and joyfully serve our church, community and those in need around the world.

SEEKING CONNECTIONS

Getting involved in PW is a great way to make stronger connections and serve alongside women from both similar and different ages and stages of life. We host seasonal events ▬ like our annual community-wide Nativity Celebration weekend, where we display more than 100 nativity scenes from across the world as a gift to the public. We not only gather together for three annual luncheons to celebrate and reconnect with one another, but also plan intentional times of fellowship with women in area churches to build ties with our larger community of faith.

We have five active Circles who gather monthly. Circles are a great way to center relationships around studying God’s Word, enjoying fellowship, building deep friendships, and intentionally serving others within our congregation and around the world. We have a Circle for every woman, we welcome you to join us:
Monthly Presbyterian Women Groups

Tuesday MornEng Circle - 2nd Tuesday 10:00 am in the Fellowship Hall

Geneva Circle - 3rd Tuesday at 6:30 pm in members' homes

Grace Circle - 2nd Tuesday at 6:30 pm in members' homes (primarily for our large network of young women navigating work, children and family)

Learning Together

Together we grow in discipleship. Each circle engages in Bible study, using the Horizons study from the PC(USA) or other works by contemporary Christian authors, leaders and scholars. We meet monthly to share our reflections, questions, and insights about the study.

Reaching Out in Love

To respond to God’s call on our lives, we serve in countless ways. To serve our church family, PW reaches out in tangible ways in seasons of celebration as well as times of grief. In our community and our world we seek to become the hands and feet of Christ serving areas of need including: Beaufort Walk for Water, CAPA, Hopeful Horizons, Thornwell Home for Children, Young Life’s Young Lives, Washington Street Park Suppers, St. Francis Center and Friends of Caroline Hospice.
