All children deserve to be loved, nurtured and kept safe from intentional and unintentional harm. The Child Abuse Prevention Association (CAPA) exists to break the destructive cycle of child abuse and neglect by equipping parents, children and their caregivers with necessary skills, knowledge and values. We support CAPA financially and with hands-on projects to help them provide the best care. Volunteer opportunities include: residential home tutors, residential home recreation, CAPA’s Closet (donation sorters, merchandisers, cashiers) and helping with one of their fundraiser Ghost Tours (as a storytellers, reservationists, or security).
