Sunday Greeting and Plaza Socials

Each Sunday after worship, our congregation and visitors always spend time greeting and catching up, but we also gather seasonally on our plaza to enjoy extra time together and delicious treats.

Annual Nativity Celebration

This annual, community-wide Nativity Celebration happens for a weekend in early December, where we display more than 125 nativity scenes from across the world as a gift to the community.

Oyster Roast

This congregation-wide waterfront event takes place in the winter when local oysters are plentiful and the weather is beautiful.

Stony Creek Picnic

We gather in fellowship and enjoy incredible food after our annual service at the beautiful historic Stony Creek Chapel.

Annual Chili Cook-Off

Our annual chili cook-off is a fundraiser for the youth program and a competitive night of chili tasting and fellowship.

Easter Egg Hunt

Our annual Easter Egg Hunt is a fun tradition with little ones hunting eggs and enjoying treats and a great time of fellowship for the whole family.

Trunk or Treat

In October, we always look forward to this festive, family-friendly Trunk or Treat event where we celebrate with costumes, games, treats and lots of fun together. This event is open to members and friends.

Children's Christmas Pageant

During Advent, this lively intergenerational evening is led by children/youth to tell and relive the story of Jesus’ birth followed by family fellowship.

Christmas at Tidewater

We kickoff the season of Advent with a family-friendly waterfront event that includes great food, seasonal activities like wreath-making, cookie decorating, and even a Santa sighting.
